Jewellery

Narryna has a modest collection of 19th century jewellery of which the most interesting is mourning jewellery crafted from jet and human hair.

Mourning brooch

Gold with oval amethyst mounted on ground of ivy leaves. The cover of the locket is engraved “M. T. 1866” and encloses plaited human hair.
